ARROYO GRANDE, CA, July 1, 2015— For the fourth year in a row, the Utah Trucking Association (UTA) has recognized Bulk or Liquid Transport for its unyielding commitment to safety. Receiving the Association’s Industrial Safety Award, BOLT was ranked first in the Tank Truck-Liquid division based on its stellar Safety Frequency Rating for 2014. A composite rating based on driver data as well as the number of dock and shop man-hours worked, BOLT outperformed its peers, reporting the lowest number of lost workdays due to safety-related incidents.
While staffing increases placed BOLT in a larger award category for 2014, the company still outperformed its peers its first year in the new division.
“It’s always an honor to be recognized by the UTA, but we’re especially proud to have been recognized in this larger category,” says founder and CEO Tracy Thomas. “It’s awards like these, earned year after year across multiple states, that serve as a testament to the passion of our team as a whole. We couldn’t serve our customers like we do without a constant dedication to a job done right—which is a job done safely.”
